I lived at home so can’t really comment on accommodation etc. We had a great group that organised social events. Lovely small hospital and you get to know everyone working in the hospital which is lovely! I’d recommend doing your peripheral here before going to Galway. Has everything you strictly speaking need but some find it a bit grim; depends on the type of person you are and what you're looking for at that stage of your life.

Very small, everyone in the hospital are absolutely lovely and you get to know eachother very well, Radiology are a pain. Lost points due to the intense workload (depending on team) and high expectations of number of jobs you can get done in a day. Also Castlebar is boring
