Cost: €3,230 for one attempt at all five components at Ireland rates (€620 + €585 + €620 + €585 + €820), using 2026 published fees. This excludes training courses, travel and repeats; confirm fees for the 2027 diet.

Who can sit it

LFOM: medical qualification, medical registration and BST or two years equivalent experience; the July 2025 regulations also require acceptable academic occupational-medicine training. MFOM Written requires LFOM Written/qualification (or concurrent LFOM Written) and four years after full registration, including two in occupational medicine. Later components require the preceding written/portfolio results; check the six-year completion and attempt rules.
