Irish Endocrinology HST trainees must sit either EBEEDM or the UK SCE in Endocrinology and Diabetes in Year 3 or 4. These are alternative examinations; the curriculum does not require both.

UK SCE: no entry requirements. EBEEDM is aimed at endocrine trainees, especially those near completion, and specialists; check current RCPI application requirements.
When NCHDs sit it
Year 3 or 4 of Irish HST. EBEEDM registration for the December 2026 sitting is closed; plan a future diet through the board’s page.
